Technically, it's not the longest suspension bridge, but the longest suspended span (the part between the towers.)

Splurbyburbl, if you knew anything about bridges (great, now I feel like a nerd), you would know that suspension bridges are not even on the same playing field as other types of bridges. It's like comparing the landspeed world record with the airspeed world record.

Tenside Stresses ftw!

Btw, this is from the show "big bigger biggest", and I've been trying to find episodes online for weeks. Not that any of you care...

"Now you know: there's no such thing as earthquakes, it's just a load of workers who got bored and started dancing for no apparent reason."

You're totally right man. It's those damn Asians at it again!

I sincerely doubt that 100 tiny asians can replicate an actual earthquake in any way.

Now a hundred fat americans...

The US tried attacking Japan with an Earthquake to remove Japan's record-holding bridge from existence...

The result? The bridge is longer.
