I wouldn't be surprised if this happened several times. I work at a movie theater as an Usher and Projectionist, and i noticed that theaters attract people with serious anger problems. Breaking up a fight in the dark wile a movie plays in the background is Soooooooooo much fun......

When I went to see that movie, the phone of the guy who was sitting next to us started to ring and the non-nice individual answered it and proceeded to have a conversation! It happened twice throughout the movie. I wanted to punch him.

@madest: You'd think someone in the 40-49 age range would at least know proper grammar. -.-

Also, I HATE when people talk during movies, even after you tell them to STFU (which he did). Babies crying is even worse, especially when the parents do nothing.

HA! I open the link and it says: "Man shoots talker at movies".
Is it wrong of me to find that completely hilarious?
It's also a little "curious" that they plugged the movie in here. Because knowing Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett are starring in said movie is completely related to what went on.
But, in all seriousness, it was wrong of him to shoot those people. Sure, people who talk in movies are total jackholes, but there were better ways to deal with this problem.

Yeah, let him go. And let's make it legal to at least shoot a taser at people who run their damn mouth while the movie is playing.

I say let the guy go. He was doing us all a favor by helping to "thin the herd".

Less morons = healthy society.

Yeah I hate talking people in the cinema too. You know like the people in the bus with cellphones or groups of biatches who act like they're drunk, which they aren't.
It's just that....I WOULDN'T SHOOT THEM IN THE ARM. Geez, what the heck was he thinking? Pretty stupid way to go in jail...

More importantly, why would anyone go to the cinema on Christmas day? Seems a bit weird to me...

Wow, He sounds like a Lovely man.
I hate it when you go to the cinema, and the whole screen is empty bar a few seats, and then people come and sit right next to you.
It always freaks me out, because i think they're sitting so close to steal something from me.
Talking through a film doesn't really bother me, unless it's completely obnoxious. I admit myself, i talk through films, but i do it so that only the person who i'm talking to can hear me.
Last time i went to the cinema i went to see Mamma Mia with my nana, and there was this woman in front talking really loudly, and it was dead annoying and she had horrible hair that was really distracting, and whenever i said something to my nan, she turned around and gave me filthy looks, even though i was being quiet.
Some people.
Garh.

I hate it when, as Androgynous say: people clapping, its not as humorus that you hafto share your emotions with the entire cinema. we don't care that it a such genius plot to you.

damnit, its ok to laugh when something funny comes along, but yelling "u-oh! someone is in big trouble now!" is just alitle over the top.

norway do not have a cinema culture with common manners :/

>>But if someone had some goddamn MANNERS...

True. Shooting the guy was wrong, but having had many movies wrecked by inconsiderate jerks like that it's really difficult to blame the shooter.

Yeah, the guy overreacted.
But if someone had some goddamn MANNERS...they'd have one less gunshot wound.

Seriously. I don't go to the movies anymore because it's like 10 dollars to strain to hear dialogue over some kids screaming, some idiot cheering, or ((and I'm not joking)) People CLAPPING.
It's a MOVIE, goddamnit. You're not the "Live studio audience".
