Tuesday, December 23, 2008 8:23:00 AM It would be ironic if he was trying to prevent himself from getting kidnapped, but that very thing ended up getting him kidnapped. But it's still ironic to some degree |

Monday, December 22, 2008 8:46:36 PM cmanatlan, it is ironic. Ironic: an outcome of events contrary to what was, or might have been, expected. We would have expected that an anti-kidnap expert would not be kidnapped; however he was kidnapped. *Sings from a Family Guy barbershop vasectomy song* And that's the definition of irony! |

Monday, December 22, 2008 3:54:51 PM I've heard of a woman negotiating her way out of a kidnapping. Of course these guys probably have higher stakes... |

Monday, December 22, 2008 3:59:41 AM uh.. that's a misnomer. He negotiates a deal to rescue people who are kidnapped, he doesn't prevent them. He is their "anti" by rescuing ones that are kidnapped, he doesn't do anything to prevent it from occuring. So it really isn't that ironic. I feel bad though =/Baalthazaq beat me to it, but I thought I would explain again anyways <_< |

Monday, December 22, 2008 3:20:35 AM Close, but really he's more like head negotiator. He doesn't prevent kidnappings. Would be cool if he got himself out. |
