Wednesday, December 10, 2008 10:09:58 AM Haha, I can pass most of these. I've even explained E=MC2 (and even Quantum physics to someone!)About the only thing im incapable of doing.. or rather things are the baseball mathematics and the pie trait. Everything else is pretty simple to do. |

Wednesday, December 10, 2008 8:51:26 AM Matwix - 'and generally have a very repetitive behavior (i.e. matching blocks of the same colour, or putting toys in a straight line)' if u claim that everyone who has autism will involuntarily do random repetitive task, you're literally claiming that EVERYONE on this planet is autistic. Everyone does repetitive tasks involuntarily, our life is just a recursive pattern of repetitive tasks. Shopping, internet, work, drive, music (and the structure of modern music is very repetitive) etc... |

Wednesday, December 10, 2008 8:41:44 AM haha no way, 500 digits is definitely not a sign of autism. And I don't have autism. If I did however, I'd probably be able to memorise 10,000 digits minimum. the person who memorises 67,890 digits is Chinese and is not autistic. He uses a technique in correlation with the mechanisms of the chinese language. Also, it's not a case of whether you have autism or not, there are huge amounts of varying degrees. The human brain is too complex to indicate if you are 100% of anything or not. |

Wednesday, December 10, 2008 2:14:18 AM bergeracman - I'm not meaning to call your bluff, but being able to do that is a sign of autism. There are one or two kids per thousand that have it. Usually those with it lack intuition about social interaction, and generally have a very repetitive behavior (i.e. matching blocks of the same colour, or putting toys in a straight line). 0.5% to 10% show the ability to memorise things in such a way (autistic savants) thus being about 1 in every 5,000. So, while it is possible you have autism, especially of that calliber, it's highliy unlikely. And on the internet makes it even more unlikely; I could find out the first 10 digits of pi and write them down, claiming I knew them. Just a bit of information. :P |

Tuesday, December 09, 2008 7:44:59 PM i can remember about 500 digits of pi. i group them in 5s - 14159 26535 89793 etc.. and then in sets of 50s and then 100s and so on, so if u ask me the 89th digit of pi, i'll say 5. and each set reminds me of a certain color and pattern. |
