That mantis shrimp was bad ass looking. And the frog looked like a Pokemon reject.

I always wondered how the scientists know that it was 80 or 200 milion years ago...it's not like there's any books or stuff to rely on...

"Whenever they get into any type of situation, they smash things. You can't pick these up. They're really great animals to have around."

This also applies to some people I know.

I like the frilled shark, he died shortly after his last and only interview shown here. He will be missed.

Well you'd be ugly too if you stayed around for 360 million years

"I don't get why everyone is so impressed with the mantis shrimp" Well, mantis shrimp both have one of the most complex eyes in the animal kingdom to the point where they actually process some information in their eyes and the ability to move their claws so fast that they create cavitation bubbles that reach temperatures in excess of several thousand kelvin. That amount of energy ensures that even if they miss hitting their prey physically, the shock wave from the cavitation bubble will usually kill/stun them. Those insane facts and the fact they look like zerg defilers from Star Craft makes them hardcore.
