My friend has all these weird bugs around her home, but they're all dead. She claims they look humanoid, which I guess they kind of do, but they also look like some form of cricket.I think any bug can look alien-like, if you want it to. Ha! The second one was cute! It was like it was waving. |

I felt like screaming when I saw those close ups of bugs I was so scared. >____<;
I thought I only hated them because they are small and you don't know where they might be. But nope, they are just as creepy big...even more so. O_O |

Of all the mantids, they show one which is the most common around?! (chinese mantis) - flawed list... weevils and some of the spiders have far more exaggerated carapaces!
First mantid is a chinese mantis: t. sinensis
Second mantid is a spiny flower mantis: p whalbergii
third mantis is a violin mantis: g.gongylodeslook them up on google, pics are way nicer there

We had a whole bunch of giant mantis bugs were we used to live. It's kinda scary when they fly at your face. |
