Sunday, November 23, 2008 11:53:49 AM But it was 7/7 and the "neutral" justice was a republican, so 8-7 (that's the second time today U.S. History has come in handy - weird). |

Sunday, November 23, 2008 11:46:49 AM Actually Tilden won both the electoral and popular votes, but not by the needed majority so it went to a House committee composed of 7 repulicans and six democrats who voted among themselves. And unsuprisingly, Tilden (Democrat) lost by one vote. |

Sunday, November 23, 2008 11:18:07 AM You know these types of situations, that waste so much money and no matter who wins present a picture of corruption, could all easily be avoided. If your going to make a law that states if someone signs their ballot(which has to be the most assinine law I have heard of) then why not make a law that states, "IF YOU MAKE A MISTAKE ON YOUR BALLOT, ASK FOR A NEW ONE!!! WE'LL DESTROY YOUR OLD ONE!!! BECAUSE IF YOUR BALLOT IS ILLEGIBLE THEN WE ARE GOING TO THROW IT OUT AS WELL!!!!" See how easy that it is. |
