Sunday, November 23, 2008 11:20:15 AM The chess board bit was incredible. And to all the people wondering who has that much spare time, imagine if all the time you wasted on the internet was instead spent building a Rube Goldberg and you probably have your answer. |

Saturday, November 22, 2008 10:20:00 PM Rube Goldberg Machine video rules for the modern inventor.Rule number 1: The video must be in a single take. No cut, no second take and no "let's try this one more time... maybe this time it will work better". Only a single visual stream from a single video camera. Rule number 2: Only high quality videos, where you can see all the little subtilities, will make it to the grand finale. Rule number 3: Before you start your Rube Goldberg Machine you must explain each steps your machine will take and the end result first ( As part of the single video stream as mentioned in rule number one above. ) to be certain that nothing was left to chance. Rule number 4: Make sure you can reset your Rube Goldberg Machine so that officials can verify the authenticity and functionability of your machine. Theta Tau Fraternity. |

Saturday, November 22, 2008 9:11:46 PM "that was so crazy. except for the chess part. the ruined it a little bit. and it didnt do anything....like there was no simple task it did. it never sent the email...did it? it just had that final thing roll out of sight."firstly, the chess part was the best part. secondly, it was called the "Does-Nothing-o-Matic"(although technically it did open the curtains), and thirdly, the email part was a joke. |

Saturday, November 22, 2008 8:57:35 PM I know the lad who did this...it's 3 days worth of filming cut together, with a bit of editing in between... (okay, not really, but I'm still calling 'fake' (in the sense of small clips, at different times, cut together))
