This cop did nothing wrong. He kept telling the reporter to get in the car and the reporter refused. What was he supposed to do? Say, "OK, you can do what you want."? |

All the posts about police brutality would be different if YOU were the one who was hit by the person resisting arrest. Or if your kid was being assaulted and the police were trying to get the assaulter. You wouldn't be whining then if the police were tazing the person resisting arrest, you would be helping beat the crap out of them. |

Okay,
1st - There is no video of if the cop car struck the reporter or if the reporter hit the cop car.
2nd - If the reporter struck the car, I can't see how you wouldn't think this was justified.
If you were driving down the road in your POS or nice car, and someone hit your vehicle as you drove by, or threw something at it, you would be royally pissed. The difference here is that the police office is trying to keep the peace and if you assault the car or officer, you should be taken out of the situation because it could start a mob mentality which would put everyone at risk. When there is a mob, then you have more of a chance of someone getting nervous and firing a round into the crowd.
I don't see why people can't just listen and do what they are told, and then if it is unjustified, THEN the can file suit or complain or whatever. Instead, we have the morons "don't taze me bro" and then resist and fight and make it so they have to be tazed or worse might hap |

Hope the guy gets suspended and thrown off the force. I have the utmost respect for most cops. These guys put their lives on the line day after day for us and nobody really seems to give them the thanks they deserve. However, every profession has its share of a$$holes and this guy has no business wearing a badge. The media are the public first defense against this sort of nonsense and we should all take note of instances like this were a journalist is harassed for no reason. |

It's possible that she hit his car. But I'm sure if she did, it was an accident. Who would damaged a police car and start a riot in front of cops while wearing a nametag? Even if she did hit his car, her arm couldn't have done any real damage. And his behavior was WAY out of line. I would have been freaking out too. |
