Wednesday, November 12, 2008 10:48:07 AM Matwix: But don't we already have the technology to advance that already?! So we can simply remove and destroy and fix everything!? I mean, why do we still lag behind when the door is so wide open!? |

Wednesday, November 12, 2008 10:22:41 AM Nid - I'd imagine that taking a small amount of something that's deadly would allow the immune system to build up a 'defense' against it, as the quantity isn't enough to 'overpower' the immune system, allowing the immune system to be able to recognise the disease in much higher quantities, and be able to fight it. I'm not all too sure though about cancer, but I'd guess it's the same kinda thing. Or they're using the radiation to kill the cancerous cells, but using small enough amounts that usually wont kill someone/something. |

Wednesday, November 12, 2008 9:49:42 AM Willowpuff, the Chinese Crested has that sort of hair by the breed. Here: One link,Two Link.Yes, Dogs can have cancer, my first dog passed away from it, and it was devastating. The treatment doesn't seem to make sense either...radiation poisoning the entire body to the verge of death in an attempt to kill the cancer? Our dog didn't even die from the cancer, he died from his immune system being so damaged it couldn't fight off what DID defeat him! >_< God damned profits! God damned "treatments"! IT'S ALL A dratING LIE! |

Wednesday, November 12, 2008 9:14:13 AM "dogs can have cancer?"..................... Yea, I think I read somewhere that cancer is the leading cause of death in dogs over age 2. My pup in my avatar fell victim to a softball size cancer near his liver, RIP. |
