Wednesday, November 12, 2008 7:14:53 AM ...um....he was lifted by a hot air balloon (cheating) and then let go at 10,000 ft, held on for a few seconds then released to sky-dive down!!! Big deal....if he left on his own from the ground, then i would be impressed..... |

Saturday, November 08, 2008 12:34:35 PM I would like to know what happened to the balloons. I mean, I guess that had to just lose their helium and fall back to earth, but I wonder how long that took.Once, in elementary school, we had a "balloon launch" where we tied notes to balloons asking for anyone who found one to send the note back to us with information on where and when they found it. One kid's balloon made it to China. ...okay, that didn't really happen. But it would've been cool. In fact, I don't think that even one of the hundreds of balloons (the whole school was involved) had a note come back. So, it was more like, "Massive Litter Day." It was a long time ago, and littering was acceptable then.

Saturday, November 08, 2008 1:53:22 AM Bat, they got the tiny balloons that are normally used for parties and you buy at Wal*Mart, and with hundreds upon hundreds they were able to lift a toddler. |

Just depends on who you are flying with and where to. But you are close! |

Friday, November 07, 2008 9:12:45 PM "did he have like... air to breathe?!?"Yes, the air isn't that bad at that height. The people in the hot air balloon next to him had plenty of air too. That Ian non-nice individual, I mean Ashpole is a ballsy guy for sure. I would like to skydive but that seems a little more intense. |
