Animecha your right. Its not a hologram, thats just CNN's "name". But the technology is pretty impressive, transfering from a real 3-dimentional environment to another. And actually the blue screens are green, and she is in a tent. The blue "hologram effect" that sorrounds her and the low rendering is intentional, becouse CNN didn't want it looking too realistic.

The technology is developed by a Norwegian company, Vizrt.

For those who are curious... Its not a hologram! Its sensationalist bull! They are in front of a blue screen and the person cant really see them! As if having camera's synced constitutes a hologram.

Who wants to place bets on how many more people are going to post stupid comments like "Help me Obama Wan Kenobi" and think they are being witty and original?

I saw this last night, didn't believe it was actually a hologram. Pretty cool, but I guess it's ineffecient if they need 35 cameras surrounding her for it to work.

My 8th grade teacher actually tested a hologram... Im a junior now...
He gets called in to do varios consumer tests, he actually said he didnt like it...
He raited it low... Expecially the hologram keyboards and screen that were like on air and you could "touch" and type and stuff like that...
I remember he said it was "Too complicated"
