The glass only broke because the defender tried to brace against it, you can see it in the slow-mo that he is leaning into the glass as he gets hit. Combined with bracing for the hit, and the defender is acting less like a person getting hit into something and more like those steel balls on wires that clack back and forth, where the ball on one end strikes several lined up and the ball at the other end gets the momentum. |

not the best hit i've ever seen, but with hockey's reputation for fighting and such, it's always nice to see an excellent *legal* check.personally, i prefer hip checks. |

Lion doesn't watch hockey; hockey is popular in Canada, therefor he assumed it was in Canada.That would be like me asking you what music did the Cadets play this year in DCI... you don't watch drum and bugle corps, so you wouldn't know. The guy made a mistake, cut him some slack. |

Crucible, the reason glass doesn't break as much is because its almost if not at the same strength as bullet proof glass. |

Hockey glass doesn't break nowadays like it did back in like the 90's. No idea why, but it does seem to happen a lot less
