Sunday, October 19, 2008 9:15:45 AM I own the old old DS. I don't understand the hype of moving the power button. It's basically in the same place as it is in mine currently.I shoulda got the psp |

Sunday, October 19, 2008 8:42:08 AM Um, no one has any original design ideas anymore, do they? Not only does it look the same, but all they've added is a couple of seemingly useless cameras and a suspiciously PSP-esque SD card. I bet it just has 2 cameras for the sake of having two of something. But Wait, They've MOVED THE POWER BUTTON!! Stunning! *Goes to trade in DS Lite... NOT!* |

Sunday, October 19, 2008 6:11:13 AM No, HelloCheese has a point- What's the difference between this and a regular DS? Looks like it does all the same stuff. |

Sunday, October 19, 2008 4:37:51 AM There are now two cameras, one on the outer shell and one in the middle of the hinge. Pictures can be saved to an SD card via the new SD slot""Those are the most noticeable (read: aesthetic) differences." I think the addition of two cameras and a card slot is rather more than aesthetic... |

Sunday, October 19, 2008 1:02:47 AM "I dont have a DS so I can't tell the difference from the original.Anyone could clarify for us uninformed people?" It's based on the DS Lite model, but is made even slimmer by removing the slot for GBA games/DS accessories (Guitar Hero: On Tour and Rumble Pak). There are now two cameras, one on the outer shell and one in the middle of the hinge. Pictures can be saved to an SD card via the new SD slot and transferred to the Wii, and may support other features such as music playback (I haven't checked into this at all). And finally, the power switch has been moved from a switch on the outer right side to a button on the lower left inside corner. Those are the most noticeable (read: aesthetic) differences. Also, I think the stylus was thinner, but I could be wrong on that. |
