Although the poster before me gave it a name, what I found is that it belongs to the Ascomycota and/or Zygomycota type fungus' not sure which though, but decided to post it since people were wondering. |

nidonemo, the fungus shown in the video is called pilobolus. It is called a "shotgun fungus" because....well for obvious reasons. If my college bio serves me right I believe the means of propulsion is a water sac. Whatvr... this mold doesn't grow on your shower, it grows on animal crap. |
