Sunday, August 31, 2008 4:09:39 PM to tell the truth it's not too hard of a move but then to do it in a game with the pressure on would be difficult |

Saturday, August 30, 2008 3:44:45 PM Oh, and in reply freddyferret, lots of pros can do the reverse pass: much fewer will have the audacity to pull it off during a match as a shot, and even fewer will have the skill to generate that much power and height, especially from the corner of the area. It's a bloody incredible goal, but I agree, not the best ever (hence the question mark). |

Saturday, August 30, 2008 3:42:29 PM foxymad "Best Football/Soccer Goal Ever?" i guess you don't see too many soccer gamesfoxymad, I'm a Manchester United season ticket holder. :) Therefore I see at least 19 a year, live. [Plus, I'm not sure there have been any better goals in the MLS ;)] As others have said, this goal takes incredible skill, putting one leg around the outside of the other and generating enough power and accuracy to put it in the top corner. |

Saturday, August 30, 2008 10:26:12 AM Yep, a reverse cross, you can see him look up before he kicks it. And he's looking for teammates in the box, not to see the keepers position. Still a great goal, though if you wanna see a reverse pass gone wrong then I give you the genious (yes i know the spelling is incorrect - rather the point, i may add) of David Dunn. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4fsLeCjB...Oh, and silv134 - i feel the same way when i view clips on here entitled 'Amazing basketball dunk' |

Saturday, August 30, 2008 10:12:41 AM That was as much luck as it was skill. I've seen as good or better from others.Zymotical, I'm not saying I can do that. But I am saying a lot of other pros can, and it was good but hardly the best ever. Hell, I'd vote for the one from a few days ago of the goalie scoring a goal as better than this one. |

Friday, August 29, 2008 7:23:27 PM For those that say its a normal goal he kicked the ball with his left foot while the ball was on the outside of his right foot, by going around the back of his right leg AND he did it without faceplanting. I issue a challenge to anyone to try to kick a ball like that and1: get it more than a foot off the ground 2: move the ball more than 10 feet infront of you Just beacuse the pros make it look easy does not make it so. Would be better if he did faceplant and it still went in. |

Friday, August 29, 2008 6:20:54 PM Peruano, woot, woot.I don't know. I've always thought doing that in a game, with pressure, is always quite difficult. Whatever, a goal is still a goal, and it helps your team win. |

Friday, August 29, 2008 5:33:00 PM I learnt that trick kick in soccer when I was about eleven or so. Nice goal, but not too much for fancy footwork. He looks like my Chemistry teacher from this past year... |
