Saturday, August 23, 2008 8:17:01 PM "but why, when humans disappear all of a sudden, things like the eiffel tower and the statue of liberty start falling apart those monuments have been around for decades! why all of a sudden crumble like that?"I thought that too, but then I realized that there are people who clean it regularly, without us, it would rust, and eventually crumble. |

Saturday, August 23, 2008 7:22:19 PM What was with the crappy music? Are we trying to sell the idea of human eradication to the "modern" crowd or some stupid thing like that? I was not entertained. |

Saturday, August 23, 2008 3:12:56 PM To everyone who's asking all the stupid questions about cars and buildings... This is about what would happen if humans just suddenly disappeared, which is why the cars are crashing, they were moving when people where driving in them and when the people suddenly disappeared they'd have no control and if it was busy they'd probably crash. The reason the buildings collapse is because we have to take care of them all the time. If we disappeared, in time they'd collapse without our care. |

Saturday, August 23, 2008 9:01:42 AM So why would the buildings fall down? If they crumble when nobody is around what would stop them from randomly crumbling when people are around? This video is lame. |

Saturday, August 23, 2008 4:39:14 AM riday, August 22, 2008 1:46:24 PM Earth wouldn't necessarily freeze - global warming would still occur. Volcanoes would still erupt to produce more CO2 than people have... Animals would still go extinct and such. But eh, this had cool effects, but doesn't make much sense. Global warming CAUSES the freeze, Vindicate.

Friday, August 22, 2008 11:02:12 PM So let me get this straight.if humans up and dissappear...buildings randomly collapse in unison, the eiffle tower defies physics by falling and sort of shooting off, the hoover dam sort of randomly fails for no reason AND the world freezes over? Pretty much its "The day after tomorrow" without the hotness of Emmy Rossum. |

Friday, August 22, 2008 9:59:29 PM the music, while sweet, was a little ill-fitting. I got this strangely "Fallout" vibe while watching. (I can't wait for 3, btw. Love the series.) |

Friday, August 22, 2008 9:20:30 PM That was on the Discovery Channel?! That was pathetic!! I couldn't have picked less fitting music if I tried, for one, and for another thing, they didn't go into any detail about what would actually happen, instead just showing a bunch of flashy CGI. |

Friday, August 22, 2008 8:47:31 PM Does anyone know if this has anything to do with the Alan Weisman book "The World Without Humans"? I saw it somewhere - maybe a bookstore - and thought it looked kind of cool. |
