Friday, August 15, 2008 9:41:29 AM "he was going through an intersection and was going to get hit. It's safer to slide your bike"Last summer, my Dad was in the same situation, except when he was sliding, he tried to get out from under the bike and broke his leg and shattered his ankle. |

Thursday, August 14, 2008 8:56:44 PM either way, had the main point, it's better to slide a few feet, than put your face into a windshield |

Thursday, August 14, 2008 8:38:18 PM to put it another way, it's better for the bike to hit the car, even at low speeds, than you |

Thursday, August 14, 2008 8:34:09 PM you'll lose some of the momentum and trajectory of the bike by going a different way (in other words, with the friction of the street and trying to roll, you'll hopefully get out of the cars way) |

Thursday, August 14, 2008 8:26:15 PM I wanted to see a fall...Now for your Olympics update: Phelps got another Gold Natasia Lukin had a low vault difficulty but did it wonderfully S.Johnson had a difficult vault and continued her step over. She is in the lead but could have done much better, and considering N. Lukin has a 7.7 difficulty for pole, she needs every point she can get |

Thursday, August 14, 2008 8:24:33 PM welp, i've said it before and i'll say it again:morons that don't wear any protective gear when riding deserve everything they get when they crash. techgeek07: that's happened to me before. some lady wasn't paying attention and pulled out in front of me. i opted to lay the bike down and slide for a few feet rather than hit her and go over the car. also - was it just me, or did that video seem to end before it was over? |
