150000 people shoot each other in the usa every single year (and the number is rising), thousands of children die due hunger each and every single day.
Dont point at China because of the Olypmics only. Different Media said it was just a robbery of a tourist.

Oi, more debate.You all should step away and try to see things from a different perspective. I used to feel terrible about the world, though more in a "we're using all the resources" sense than the "we're killing each other" sense. It all happens, there's nothing we can really do about it, so we all should move on and appreciate what we do have. It's all about perspective. I guess what I'm trying to say is that the majority of how you live your life is based on how you view it. If you think the world's a nasty place, you'll be nasty yourself, thus contributing to the problem. If you're, well, not necessarily happy-go-lucky, but at least amiable to the world around you, it won't seem as dismal a place. You see what I'm getting at? |

Owanie: They only worked on the pollution because the Olympics were coming up and they wanted to look better. And because they NEEDED it. I went to China this summer and I could still hardly breathe when I went outside or see a blue sky. We're not even at that level. |
