I see these competitive eating competitions as a big a$$ waste of food, I can see how someone would argue it isn't a waste because they eat the damn things, but nobody needs to eat that much fcking hot dogs. |

Hey, that did help. That makes sense. I have a smaller than normal appetite, so I guess that means my stomach just doesn't stretch that much because I don't put much in it. |

Opiebreath, the reason is really about balance. In most people, the stomach expands to accomodate the large amount of food one eats. In fat people, the stomach has a lot of fat to push through, so they usually are able to eat less, which prevents them from getting more fat.
This may also be a reason why "overweight" people may sweat a little more compared with what we conceive as "healthy", the bodu is trying to shed those "extra" pounds. In thin people there is little fat the stomach must push through, so the stomach can expand rather freely. Hope this wasn't too long an explanation for you, Opiebreath, and everyone else who wanted to know. Oh, and while we are on this topic, one of the nice things about life is that every so often, we just have to drop almost everything we are doing and eat. Yes, I'm overweight. But i'm also overtall to make up for it, so there. |

Ehh, actually, it's more people like MLK jr and Rose Parks that would fly into a fit of anger fueled rage if they could see BET.
