It is possable to daze the guy by squeezing his cartoid artery... but not kill him if you let go like he did. And the neck massage most likely did a lot less than it appears - i bet he would wake up 5x faster if you layed him on his back and lifted his legs in the air. That would cause the blood from his legs to go to his head. |

you've got to be careful with stuff like that. you should never EVER knock someone out as a demonstration. it's too risky even for the really experienced. |

SilverThread I completely agree.It annoys me that people with the martial arts knowledge to practice these techniques would be so irresponible as to demonstrate it to everyone, especially when they could have no training and no knowledge of using the appropriate force. |

they teach you stuff like that in tae kwon do..basically that right there was just hitting the artery n vein in your neck hard enough to pinch them off, granted passing out like that has dangers(the deadly one being a brain hemmorhage), but more than likely the victim is gonna be okay. |

I really hate the fact that these videos are so common. Just what I need is some dippoo with an internet connection to learn how to maim people with out ever learning the restraint involved in actually studying martial arts. |
