it looked pritty real to me
that low jump he did is called a hop and pop or something where they do it from about 300 ft and open parachute straight away and he wouldnt of been able to control the way he was falling cos he had no time whilst trying to get his parachute out aswell |

For starters it is Colombia not Columbia.
They yell "La reserva" and "Que pasó?" it is spanish fot The Reserve (Parachute) and What Happened?
It is fake, nobody say f*ck or sh*t or any other swear in spanish like the people in this situations tends to yell. |

could even have been a stunt; 'try and jump into a pool from a plane' would be cooler than it being real or fake sktdiving accident. |

FAKE. skydivers dont jump out of planes that low. That was ridiculously low for a skydive. |

Along with all the other mentioned reasons, I think the commentary is too stilted for what is supposed to be a television show like real TV. They generally speak throughout the entire video, and describe events before or during the event, not after. They also use more adjectives. |

um it was fake...the person would have taken longer to fall to the ground, hence not the right altitude and seasoned parachuters dont flail around like that. |

Of course if it WAS real, that would explain why everyone else runs away and the woman runs toward the jumper... with the high price of Meat these days, she's just realised there is 50 pounds of pre-tenderised dinner steak lying free on the ground for the taking...They like their "chicken" down there... |

Completely FAKE. The fact that the camera work and resolution is professional, not home video, quality should be a major clue, there just happened to be a TV crew filming that day??? The plane reaches jumping altitude in a couple of minutes?? Why would they be jumping from so low, if not for the fact that if they jumped from normal height they would be well out of camera range? The 'skydiver' never waves a limb of any kind but looks just like a sack dropping, and the reactions of the people on the ground are fairly tame for people supposedly looking at a person dropping like a stone to certain death. A total FAKE. |

Real or not, how would that feel like? Flying down towards the ground just watching it get closer and closer...I'd probably go numb from shock. I'm never going skydiving! Just the thought of falling towards the ground from that high up gives me the chills. |

I jump out of perfectly good planes for a living, and I can tell you that:1. A small single-engine plane wouldn't reach sufficient altitude for skydiving in "a few minutes". 2. The altitude at which the "skydiver" exited the aircraft was ridiculously low. Also, the narration sounded suspiciously like it came from one of those totally cheesy "Faces of Death" movies that everyone was getting their panties in a bunch about in the 1980's. Not only is this faked, but it's faked badly. |
