Wednesday, July 16, 2008 9:46:26 AM FixTheYellow...Yeah, I was just kidding. Although that would be useful if it only reacted to goose feathers. You could market that as some sort of goose-deterrent, you know, for the goose nuisance plaguing the Eastern Seaboard. |

Tuesday, July 15, 2008 4:07:39 PM Is it a specific type of feather that it reacts to, or just goose feathers? |

Tuesday, July 15, 2008 3:18:46 PM Forbez, and all others who wonder: it's two chemicals that are pored onto one another and react to create this. If you want to know what they are, ask someone else (or google it). I'm not getting in trouble for posting 'bomb recipes' (lol). Anyway, they obviously just put the iodine on the filter paper and poured the other chemical onto it. |

Tuesday, July 15, 2008 3:11:32 PM You won't see caesium anywhere, it's very hard to make and has a short half life. |

Tuesday, July 15, 2008 2:53:46 PM yeah, most chemicals can be contained in SOME kind of container without decomposing/reacting. usually for things like the alkali metals, you keep it in oils to keep it from reacting (cesium any1?) |

Tuesday, July 15, 2008 1:58:09 PM YEEESSSSS.Any brits here ever watch "Braniac: Science Abuse"?. There was a guy on there who would paint that stuff (which he called his "secret formula") onto stuff that people were gunna move, like TV remotes and toilet seats ^^. That show was fricken awesome. |

Tuesday, July 15, 2008 1:45:52 PM lol that stuff's fun! - I made some with the help of my dad who used to prank his father by putting it on door handles! |

Tuesday, July 15, 2008 1:29:02 PM You make it as a paste, spread it on door handles and watch as someone tries to open the door. If you don't use too much the explosion is more just force than heat or anything so it's relatively harmless |

Tuesday, July 15, 2008 1:24:02 PM @ Forbez: If you payed attention to the womans voice... it is only volatile when dried - to answer your question, it was most likely wet when they put it there. |
