That's the Wichita Wingnuts. I'm from Wichita and there really is nothing to do here so you will see a lot of people at those games. I think the manager was putting on a show. But hey, yelling at the umpire in a comical fashion is as American is apple pie and...well, baseball. |

The reason the coach was so mad was because the umpire called a strike three on the batter for swinging at the ball. However the coach thought the batter 'checked' his swing, and therefore the call should have been a 'ball'. |

Yelling at umps never works at that particular moment, but it does get them thinking about their strike zone a little harder (assuming that's what he was arguing about).This is only one in a long, LONG list of major and minor league manager tirades, but it is sure to be a classic.
