Why does everyone keep talking about UFC or wrestling. This is an EliteXC broadcast and the sport is called MMA. Jezus, educate yourselves before making half ass comments and making yourself look like a drating tool. Bunch of ignorant drats.

Wow, of all the excellent free fights there have been in the history of the sport, IAB chooses to post the Kimbo fight. If you know a little bit, the guys gassed, were sloppy and really let some stuff go that aany decent pro would never, ever let happen.I guess it's true, for the general population, Kimbo IS mma. |

First off lets just say this was not the greatest fight they could've produce. But Kimbo is a money maker and thats what business is all about. Secondly, anyone who thinks UFC or EliteXC or Pride Fighting or type of sport like that is not a "sport" your a moron. Chess is not a sport. Video games are not a sport. The stuff these guys do takes a lot of heart, passion, and some type of skill to even perform. You might think "ya, i can do that easily" but chances are you will get your face punched in within the first 10 seconds of the fight. If you last past that, you ran around the ring the entire time. Finally, UFC is indeed better and EliteXC had no business being on CBS. They should've stuck to their showtime performances and left it at that until they had fighters making a name for themselves. UFC is 10x better than this and really has has some phenomenal athletes. |

He really isn't very good. That guy he was fighting had lost the majority of his fights, and this was basically the minor leagues of professional fighting. |

My bad it isn't even the entire match, It was so long I thought it was...UFC is so DrAtInG lame and long and boring... They barely hit each other because they try so hard to keep the other guy from kicking their ass, they can't get a hit in unless they manage to mount their opponent in the gayest manner possible. So they find happiness in struggling on the floor like a pair of siamese retards fighting over a tuna sandwich.... UFC: U Fail roostersucker! |

I love how everyone talks crap about Kimbo when I'm 100% sure no one here could take him. Yeah, someone in this world could take him. Big deal? He admits it himself he's got a lot to learn, at least he's not trying to act like hes the best. The plain and simple fact is that Kimbo is a beast, and eventually hes going to be unstoppable. |

kimbo was on the ground getting his head pounded in with his arms out of reach to block. They specifically stated at the beginning of the show that a match had to be called if one fighter stopped defending themselves. Not only was it not called once, but the ref told thompson to let him up and kimbo nearly KO'd him with the punches he got in after that. Then it happened again and kimbo got his head elbowed in for a good minute with no word from the ref. not to say it wasn't a cool fight, but from the professional standpoint it was pretty lame. again I have to say, put kimbo against someone with a belt and he'll get his ass kicked. |
