meh.. i couldnt watch the entire video but from what i saw it dosent look all that great.

Just remember that Android is just the software that would run the phone, along with some applications.It's NOT a physical mobile / cell phone, other companies (such as carriers) will have to build the physical phone, and it's up to them which parts of Android they'll put on the phone. So no two Android powered phones will be the same. All Google are doing is providing a common framework so that applications on one mobile will work on another mobile. |

I'm having one.If it's cheaper than the iPhone, then there's no stopping me... unless it never leaves the US. But it's kind of annoying that it looks the same as an iPhone, and that 90% of it is iPhone stuff with different branding. But the magnifier on the web browser looks pretty awesome, and StreetView is so cool! "And as you can see, it tracks my movement"

You guys do realise that this isn't an actual product, just a full, open-source development suite for touch-screen phones, right? He's just showing some of the tools they built into the suite and the cool ways they can be used. |

^ only iPhone can beat the iPhone. Luckily, it's already doing it with shortages. Those who want a smartphone but were unable to get one cause iPhones keep running out are likely to get the one they demonstrated Andriod on.Anyway, apple is crap. I'm using a Blackberry right now (oh and guess what? I use *all* of it's features, guy on the 1st page with all the stats!) and will eventually replace it with either an Andriod phone or the new touchscreen Blackberry. Apple is still the company for the niche of snobby people who want to pay more to be able to do less. I laugh at the commercials where it says that Mac's can run Word now too. Play catch-up much? |

i really dont think phones can get any better unless they get paper thin but then again i wouldnt want thati have the voyger its good, but as i look at my phone... i think they need to slow down on the phone speed |
