The uForce is actually really cool.I'm guessing it's working is something similar to a theremin - electrical circuits that are influenced by the position of your hands. The 'power bar' probably alters the field, as might the flight stick. Maybe the buttons close an electrical connection that is thus detected. OK checked wikipedia, I'm wrong - it uses infrared. As for the rolling rocky thingy - i reckon like his zappers, he'd got one that's just plain broken. Maybe a brand new pristine one would have worked a lot better.

That foot standy rolly thing reminds me of those toys that were basically a rubber ball with a disk in the middle of it and you hopped around.

For anybody wondering, the top gun thing is something that comes up with AVGN in a fair few of his videos, since on the initial video he spent half of it trying to get past the land sequence and failed.PLEASE IAB. Don't post every one of AVGN's videos.. |
