i don't know why he needs to use some elctrical stand to make it change colors back and forth, my brother and my high school chemistry teacher did this without some cheap stand |

I don't know all the details, but at a certain point the reaction reaches a stage called equilibrium, causing the reaction to reverse and start again, this is the cause of the colour change. |
