Friday, April 25, 2008 3:46:56 PM The challenge here must have been creating wheel that would use up or mark while screwing like that. |

Friday, April 25, 2008 12:59:06 PM i like the wheels, a very good invention we should get those on cars, instead of ball wheels we could have those, which seem to do the same typw of movements |

Friday, April 25, 2008 7:01:33 AM "The good news is that you don't like like a douchebag riding on it."Assuming one of those likes is suppose to be a look, I honestly think the person who submitted this ate a hearty helping of crack. The guy looked drating retarded, trying to keep his balance on this creepy little square thing. I agree with duckinfuh, definitely a step backward on their part. |

Friday, April 25, 2008 5:12:32 AM I want one. I want to see if they change it at all though, like put some other stuff ontop of it and make it more car-like, because it seems a little wasteful just to have that much space on top and you're not going to use it (solar pannels don't count). I think it was solar anyway. o.o |

Friday, April 25, 2008 3:25:28 AM This is actually an omni-directional or holonomic vehicle, which basically means that it doesn't need to turn to change direction. Very nice concept that could one day be the future of cars. here's a link to a youtube vid of a holonomic lego contraption: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjIEWnmWG...

Friday, April 25, 2008 1:23:49 AM It's not completely new at all... it just uses Macanum wheels invented in the 1970s. |

Friday, April 25, 2008 12:46:10 AM Actually you still look a douchebag riding that thing at this state, and I don't see what so neat about it... it goes slow and what can it do except make really sharp turns and make a sideways motion ? You would be better of riding a bycicle. Maybe I'm to harsh at the moment but I really don't see how such a wheel could ever manage speeds on a car driving 60 km/h. Besides it doesn't make the car suddenly brake magically so that makes that makes the sideways driving function useless, and if it goes slow enough to use it it would not be practicall to use. But they made something copmletely new and I have to give them credit for that. And yes I know, I make spelling errors. |

Friday, April 25, 2008 12:39:05 AM @ Fayth ^^I was just about to comment that. " "You know it's a good robot when it's creepy." " Very true in times like these. But does that make Michael Jackson with a motherboard an amazing robot? |

Friday, April 25, 2008 12:36:39 AM eh, i disagree. how douchebag-esque is it to crouch down on a "creepy" little board and roll around? maybe i'm misinformed, but it isn't much better than segway in that aspect, IMOstill cool though ... i wanna know how those wheels work. |
