Sex.com is worth a bucketload now, but when the internet was young the guy who owned it had it stolen from him, by a guy who just sent a letter to the hosting company saying 'Yeah, he's giving it to me'. So the guy who now has sex.com back is actually in debt for his legal fees. |

Pizza.com isn't as valuable to Pizza Hut or Dominoes as your might think. They already have a strong brand with recognised domain names. How many people are going to type in pizza.com rather than google Pizza Hut or Dominoes Pizza if they don't already have contact information? |

i'm actually pretty surprised that one of the major pizza companies didnt buy it. i mean, i see a coupon for pizza hut and google-ads for just about every pizza company ever on the front page, but that's it. he couldve probably got more money out of it if he waited for one of them to make a bid.unless of course one of them did buy it, and just hasnt updated the site yet. but even knowing i couldve gotten more, i'd still be happy with $2.6m |
