*sigh* I honestly think Dawkins was the first to pull this act. I've since seen it done twice. Enough, people.

Completely obvious that it will work.

Way to prove how stupid you are if you doubt it.

Pretty lame. Everyone should know this stuff already.

Pointless... and the guy risking his face went to oxford.

I learned that kind of stuff in high school.

Just as long he doesn't pull a fast one on you and give it a bit of a push.

Actually, this concept was first discovered by Bill Nye the Science Guy...

"Remember that it's called the "THEORY" of Gravity for a reason. It's only a Theory. They're lucky he didn't get his face smashed in." --davymid

Tjames, you're just making yourself look like an idiot. Davymid was making a subtle jab on the 'It's only a theory!' anti-evolution bible-thumping crowd.

Oh yeah, to all those people who wouldn't put their face their, especially the girls:

What if you wear make up? You know they test the make up, using science, on many animals and substances before releasing it into the public, to make sure your face doesn't melt off when you wear it. If you wear make up, you trust science with your face (or you trust the people making the make up).

If I were the rock holder, I just might accidentally push the rock with a little force...you know...accidentally.

The trust is not in the science, it's in the guy holding the rock.

Brainiac is *not* a science program. It's a comedy program. It just uses science as a framework. Watch an episode thinking it's science and you'll wince at the massive errors in their experimemnts and the unsubstantiated conclusions they draw.

Brainiac answers questions such as "What happens if you microwave a ballon full of petrol with a metal spoon stuck to it?" They blow a microwave up every week. Usually a caravan as well. There's some science in there, but it's a comedy program. e.g. a laxy man's guide to making scrambled eggs..."Whisking is too much like hard work for a lazy man, so let's save ourselves the bother by using some high explosive."

The intros make me laugh, e.g. "This is Brainiac, the show that rings the doorbell of science and runs away."

I'm surprised there's only been one person whose ignorance of science is strong enough for them to use the "It's only a theory" line.
