atleast there are some good cops around... i used to bartend downtown at a 4 am bar... all the cops were complete dickheads, but that was to help put up with all the big city shenanigans and black people |

Erm, just to point out, unless your car is LPG or Hydrogen and even in both those cases you are SENSATIONALLY unlucky and the fuel tank which has several inches thickness was pierced in a crash - you would be very unlucky to have the fuel tank explode on you. That poo only happens in movies. |

Just my ill attempt at humor Pasaba. Sarcasm aside, I do believe bad cops are the minority. Also, I do wonder how the guy ended up unconcious in a car, engulfed in flames, in the middle of an empty parking lot. Am I the only one who finds that just strange? Perhaps someone was trying to get rid of a body and some evidence. |

its good to see a nice cop. but british police are generally nice- they always smile and say hi, and if they're in town, they'll let kids on their motorbikes for pics etc |

It's nice to see a video of cops actually doing something good instead of all the times we see videos of them beating people. Although I'm sure some criminals deserve the beatings! |

YEs these guys are heroes, I'm glad the news actually gave them some airtime. Mostly cops are people too, mostly.
.. 1st cop didn't rush in because he didn't see anyone (he went over to break the driver side window as the 2nd cop arrived) & cars are frequently torched if they're stolen. It's like 10 seconds before backup came, not a long time at all.
.. they did get him from the driver seat, easier to open the seatbelt from 'this' side & pull him out. I'm amazed they guy survived at all. |
