wow to all of you people that are say "learn to play the right way" and putting him down and stuff, why not? i mean why cant you play something in a different way that you like more or that you can work more clearly, why would you put that limit on yourself. i mean im a guitarist too, and i really dont see anything wrong with it. and Zerocyde, attention hog? that was just dumb |

i can tell some of you ppl are just jealous saying "play the guitar the right way!" and "just cause you can play the guitar a different way doesnt mean u should slap and bang on it like and idiot!"
Well when there is a vid of you online anywhere of you playng the guitar so different and beautiful, then ur entitled to say whatever the hell you want, ok? I dont play guitar, but i'm a musician and i know when someone is good at something ppl feel they have to put that person down just because they're jealous they cant so it. |

If you check him out on YouTube, you can see other clips of him playing, and yes he does play the regular way as well - and just as brilliantly.I don't get why people say it's a repost; I've never seen this particular video before. And if it's forbidden to post something that looks or sound like something that was posted before, then I'm surprised this website is still running. Muirghiel, he does have a CD, and it is possible to get the mp3s on his website at www.erikmongrain.com. |

HIRED GUN, let's see you do that. When you suck horribly, don't come crying back here.Even if it is a repost (though I haven't seen it, even in the last 50 pages of the site), it is really awesome, and even IF it is simple or whatever you all claim it to be, it sounds beautiful. Isn't that what music is supposed to be about? I don't give a fudging rat's ass if the technique is simplistic, if it sounds brilliantly beautiful, that's all that matters.
Do what your_majesty said. If you know it's a repost, don't friggin watch it! There is an abundance of people who have never even seen this kind of thing and will appreciate it. The rest of you mindless zombie hounds are all repeating each other with your spamful "REPOST!".
I can do a simpler version of that. |
