you can do that with sugar and sulphuric acid
it makes a tower of black bubbles n if you leave them they go blue |

You can also make a dry ice bomb:Take dry ice, bottle it, water it, cap it and run like hell.
The problem is that it is almost impossible to determine when it'll blow. I wouldn't recommend it. |

I'd be more impressed if I hadn't already done this in the 4th grade. I think my teacher called it "marge's hair." Still a fun effect the first time you see it though. |
