A few background details: as mentioned, he's a fisherman, and became only the second person to finish all four stages of Ninja Warrior (Japanese name: SASUKE).There have been 17 Ninja Warrior competitions over the course of approximately 8 years. American Olympians have been among the competitors in SASUKE events, including gymnasts the Hamm twins and decathlete Paul Terek. Viking is cool, but I have a personal preference towards Ninja Warrior. Ninja Warrior is more straightforward athleticism, and gives you a back story to each competitor- something that humanizes the competitors and makes them easier to get behind. |
