Saturday, May 24, 2008 12:42:50 AM and I don't know how you all got to talking about God but logically, some higher because it's impossible for everything to be here by accident. even if the big bang is real, what started the bang? and where did the matter that makes up the universe come from? Some being has to exist outside of time as we know it to answer these questions, and my belief is that "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth"... take it or leave it but there's no way to prove logically that the world or anything came into existance without a higher being so... |

Saturday, May 24, 2008 12:28:03 AM Who doesn't have ADD these days? anyone can go to their doctor and tell them their behavior and get diagnosed with a mild form. Discipline still works, though not to the exaggerated proportions that south park wants to take it to. Yes society did manage to avoid armaggedon before ritalin, so those of you who don't think discipline is needed (not just ADD/ADHD kids, but to all spoiled brats) will have to suck your kid's future boss's dicks cuz ur to wussy to spank the kids to teach them that bad behavior will get bad things for them, and good behavior will get good things. I was diagnosed with a moderate form of ADD and I was an A student and went to college when I was 16. My parents whooped my ass if I didn't do what I was supposed to and I learned to control myself. Though I am easily distracted, I can overcome it if I try hard enough, and so can almost everyone. only a few people have such a severe form of the d/o (psyc short for disorder) to need medication, mostly severe ADHD cases |

Saturday, November 17, 2007 10:55:29 PM I was diagnosed with mild ADD when I was 14 years old. I never even wanted to have it, but I took a legitimate test that tested my concentration level. I had never been hyperactive; in fact, I am more on the opposite side of the spectrum. All it means is that I'm not able to focus as well. Certain people aren't going to be able to concentrate as well as others. When it goes to the extreme, you get ADD. Oh yeah... and f.uck you koala. |

Saturday, October 27, 2007 9:40:24 AM that is such a funny episode. i like when all the parents and mr garrison take the Ritalin as well. aas for the whole discipline debate? i WISH my parents had been tougher on discipline. my dad didnt want to spank me or hurt me in any way because his father would beat the living daylights out of him with a belt when he was young, my mum couldnt hurt me or my brother because she had tried so hard to have kids. but i do wish my parents had been tougher, now we seem to get everything we want, its spoiled my brother into never doing homework and playing games all day, i'm trying not to get spoiled.i know that was late but i thought i'd chip in. |

Sunday, September 23, 2007 3:27:14 PM yeah, i don't like the idea of beating your children but i suppose it works alot better than turning them into zombies with that ritalin crap. i'm big on the 'time-out instead of beating' technique.of course i don't think that works when someone actually has ADD (a very rare thing indeed) i wouldn't punish them for that.I just don't like when people who have/are told they have ADD or ADHD use it as an excuse to not do or get away with stuff. |

Wednesday, August 15, 2007 12:05:35 AM I used to babysit a boy with ADHD and his non-HDHD brother. I vowed to never babysit again. The ADHD one was violent, constantly hyper, non-stop talk, insulted easily, and couldn't sit through 10 minutes of a movie without telling me about the blue truck he saw on the highway. And don't get me started on how hard it was to explain the bruises on the brother's face and arm after the ADHD one tried to beat him up. I know its only partly his fault, but still. Never. Again. |

Sunday, June 17, 2007 10:55:51 PM ADD is real, it's just overly diagnosed. Of all the kids that are diagnosed with it maybe 30 some-odd percent actually have it. I guess the doctors don't really feel like looking deeper into it and the parents automatically assume a behavior or academic problem is ADD. I know people with real ADD, and you can tell if they've had thier medicine or not. some people you cant, i think those are the ones who need the "You can either calm down or I'll pop you in the mouth again" treatment |

Sunday, June 17, 2007 8:57:58 PM I would say that overall, hitting your children is harsh. however, if they are screaming, being violent, or otherwise being a complete douche, and refuse to follow direct commands to stop, than beat their ass down. No need to hit them for little things, or if they didn't know better, but don't let them grow up to be an immature jackass. |

Wednesday, June 06, 2007 6:41:44 PM What really pisses me off is that Doctors Prescrib Ritalin for Children who would rather go out and play hockey rather then stay in and do homework. lower Sugar, get the kids on a damn sports team and VOILA! no more ADD, but then the Corporations who thrive on the "illness" will go bankrupt, so they will have to invent another illness. (It doesn't exist there is no such thing as ADD ) (there is a thing as low IQ,and short attention span syndrom thought )(forgot actual name)I HATE YOU CAPITALIST PIGS! ok sure! theres no such thing as ADD! lets alter some parts of UR brain and see how u live ur life!!! I HAVE ADD AND I DONT EVEN EAT CANDY LET ALONE ANY SUGAR!!!! AND ITS MORE THAN JUST REFUSING TO DO HOMEWORK STUPID!!!! ITS THE FACT THAT TOSE ALTERED PARTS OF OUR BRAIN LACK THE ABILTY TO PAY ATTENTION!!! ITS ABOUT STAYING FOCUSED DUM *SS!!!!
yes i know that was kinda late... |

Sunday, February 11, 2007 8:50:59 PM I don't think that all cases are fake, in fact I am sure many kids do have ADD, I believe that many people are using that as an excuse to allow children to be spoiled and out of control. These kids need to be taught a lesson and spanked every once in a while. |

Wednesday, January 24, 2007 8:00:00 PM '"Recent Studies" By who? You can find a "recent Study" For Everything, prooving and disprooving. Like Homopathie, Go Look into it, And you will be "Cured" of ADD or ADHD.I was Cured of Dislexia Because of Homopathie. It also helps on Emotional levels, And the best thing is that you don't ahve to take it for the rest of yor life. It is still my beleif, and the beleif of somebody who is quit close to me - who was treated for ADD - But admits she never had it and its all a scam.Somebody who is lied to there entire life, will be eleive that lie to the death, there is no reasonnning with you, like there is no Reasonning with those Christian Turds.' read again: 'I was Cured of Dislexia' LOL. |

Wednesday, January 17, 2007 12:51:21 PM spanking/discipline has nothing to do with ADD. When i was little my dad was smack the living sh.it out of me (exaggeration, not child abuse) but yea he'd really discipline me hard and was real strict but i was still a crazy hyper kid with ADD so the parents arent ALWAYS to blame but u just have to look at the situation, sometimes u can blame the parents and sometimes, like in my case, u cant so yea.besides, my personality has always been and will always be like that. i mean i wasnt a bad kid or anything, theres a difference between that and being totally full of energy all the time. i think that being full of energy is a good quality to posess and really hate it when parents get kids ritalin for that. ADD is when that energy causes u to have extremely short attention spans and always i need of stimulation NOT when ure just plain energetic. |
