Tuesday, April 28, 2009 10:00:00 PM Hands down one of the Best acoustic pieces Ive ever heard or seen. Kudos. And 'screaminbean', the nails are so he can finger pick and make the music he does. Way to fail. |

Saturday, April 18, 2009 9:46:46 PM At some point I was drawn maddly into it. It was more than just a feeling. It was more like something that I took in. As if I could almost taste and eat the feeling and moment. No, I'm not hungry, but I don't know how else to describe it at the moment. That was awesome. Beat that guitar hero pussies. |

Sunday, September 28, 2008 1:41:32 PM I didn't necessarily like the music, but he played with such energy and life that I was in awe. Its great to see someone with so much passion in life. And its people like those on this site that are ruining this world...they worry more about how he looks than what he can create. It was once expected that the true artists and geniuses in the world worry not about their appearances...but its people like you who make trivial crap like fingernails the number one priority in life...you guys suck. |

Monday, October 30, 2006 2:49:12 PM Wow, just watched it again, and this time I read through all the comments. If you were saying pooe like, Eww his hair or Eww his nails, then FECK OFF SCUM! Any guitar player/true lover of music will know that he can play/you don't have to conform to be talented. In the second half of the video the audio and visual are out of sync, the visual is about 1 second behind the audio (any guitar player will notice what I mean if they look closely, i.e. look at the sliding action) but this is not a shop. Truly beautiful. |

Wednesday, August 16, 2006 8:38:53 AM Love this song... I've never been a big John Butler fan but I'd also never heard this song. I swear I stopped breathing at one point during this - music I like does that to me lol. |

He uses ceramic nails. Makes picking for him a lot faster and easier.John Butler is amazing. The things he can do with his 11-string (look at the headstock, one machine-head has been carved out into a spiral) are unbelievable. |

Tuesday, August 01, 2006 9:16:28 AM At about 3 minutes into the clip there are parts when the audio is out of sync with the video; the note changes but his hand moves about a second later. I still love it though. |
