Actually, the new Chocolate Factory movie was almost identical to the book. It was the old movie that deviated.

I don't know....I loved the book and the cartoon as a child, and though it looks good, these remakes seem to have a tendancy to deviate from the original so much that it's hardly recognizable (i.e. Willy Wonka). |

WTF? A movie about something nice, WITH a soundtrack comprized of music instead of rap? I dident think they made them anymore. I aient much into kids movies, but ill see it just for shock value. |

mmm yyyeahhh dakota fanning really didn't have to be in this movie...when i saw her, that just killed it for me. yeah and since when do pigs talk anyway? seems too dull of a movie for me..so this movie comes out as a flop. |
