I think this shows how wealth inequality does not serve any of us well, and sadly this lot and their peers will continue to amass vast amounts of cash while the poor become a larger group with less money, less power- and all of a sudden 1890 here we come...

jops360-actually more like when you have enough to live on for the rest of your life, your families lives and 1000 extra lives. could also be where you have enough to buy a medium size city, flat out. or if you can make the average salary of an average American every minute. including when you sleep.

That's if folks: We can fire all the congress, IRS, financial advisors and investment gurus. jops360 knows exactly how much every person should be 'allowed' to earn.

Or, he could just be -full of envy because he'd rather pull down others' success rather than face his own shortcomings.

llaa-I can see tens of thousands of workers making, building, selling, and inventing products which earns the companies billions. The owners not so much.

The difference, of course, is that the owners gave them the tools, the funding, the opportunity and the guidance for those workers to build, sell and invent.

Without those tools, funding, opportunity and guidance, 99%+ of them would not have accomplished the building, selling and inventing.

That's what happens when you work for other people.

And what, exactly, does links have anything to do, or prove?

Are Links the I-A-B version of 'flair'?

And so, this is how I picture llaa:

Here is the icing on the cake and why MeGrendel doesnt really have an opinion other than strange confusion.

So large in amount as to be objectionable or outrageous. Yes?

Think Waltons or Johnson. Do you think the Walton children earned their 35 billion? The Koch brothers? Or even Bill Gates or Buffet if they earned their amounts? I can see tens of thousands of workers making, building, selling, and inventing products which earns the companies billions. The owners not so much.

Baelzar-Where's the line for "obscenely rich?"

How it usually works is:
Only you and people making exactly your salary worked hard for their money.
Anyone making more than you didn't earn it. (Too much more and it's obscene)
Anyone making less than you are lazy.

The first graphic is very interesting if you look at it from a racism/sexism perspective. I see one minority has the top spot (Hawaii). There are a few women, but most I see on the list inherited their wealth from a white man (Husband or Father).

Looks like we still have a long way to go.
