A Year Later:

Turdy: I responded DIRECTLY to the only salient statement you made: Obama being "less aggressive" which is: #1 false. #2 not necessarily a 'good' thing! Sometimes direct action is DEMANDED. And yet Obama fiddles, stalls and kicks the can down the road...

I argue because I refuse to let BULLIES ruin my day! I confront them with facts and truth, it literally drives them insane with rage! They (you) literally have NO ANSWER to facts and truth. So they expose themselves for what they (you) are: hate-filled idiots with no backbone.

"In your mind you are an expert. Opinion will never change."

I have an opinion on MANY things, that's true. I've RARELY claimed to be an "expert" on anything. You WRONGLY INFER this? That's your problem. You only display your own stupidity by shrieking and screeching over nothing like you did...

didn't refute any points I actually made. Changed the subject.

I never argued that obama is good. Just that you are crazy, and have no more reason to complain than listy does about Americas politics...other than for attention.

You are an attention whore.

Bring up nearly ANY subject. In your mind you are an expert. Opinion will never change.

You take this $hit personally...and it's gonna get you banned one day.
Why do you insist on constantly arguing? Oh wait, I already said why. You are an attention whore.

Go ahead and reply...by changing the subject, taking things out of context, and putting words into my mouth. The same thing you always do, and complain about others doing to you.

You complain too much.

A@monkeyspankn: The keyword is: at this point in their Presidency. Yes, at the END Bush had lower numbers, but that's meaningless. It's like saying Bush's numbers in 2002 were MUCH HIGHER, correct? Year #5 comparison is what counts.

@Ogden: That's what's commonly called "a joke" ok? MSM 'news' often compared Bush to ridiculous, non-political people in attempts to ridicule him.
Again, at this point in their Presidency, not "all time highs or lows" which are meaningless.

Despite the MSM shilling for him 24/7? Obama's numbers are BAD. Period!

Wow this is dumb, for many reasons.

He makes the claim that Obama's approval ratings are below a few presidents, a serial killer and a long dead historical figure. One, I don't think they did an approval ratings test for the last two.

But also, it is a total deceiving "fact" because while at certain points of George W Bush's presidency he was higher than 40%, his lowest rating was 25%.

Without giving any numbers, he acts like 40% is quantifiablely less than other presidents as a whole.

Furthermore, who drating cares who is President? Haven't you heard, business owns your Government. The President is just a figure head who stands around acting like he made a decision today.

I can't stand Obama, but this is Republican propaganda. Bush had a 25% positive, 75% negative rating in 2007. You can google that, so there's one un-truth. Obama's 40% is a little higher than Bush's 25%. Once again we have polls.

@turdy: If you're trying to "be funny" it simply isn't working.

Obama's stubborn refusal to go ahead with Keystone Pipeline? THAT ALONE harms our whole country's economy. HIS OWN RESEARCH says it's A-1 Safe! But he panders to extremists and kills it. That's just ONE example.

BUT he still went for photo-ops and claimed the JOBS were his doing (for a portion of the line being built already, further south) THAT he has no trouble doing!

Obama 'fiddles' in Martha's Vineyard and on the golf course: The rest of the world is burning.

"Less Aggressive" is NOT a good thing! Even if it were true: he INVADED Libya in direct violation of the US Constitution.
Abandoning Iraq and Afghanistan? Not good.

MASSIVE increase in drone assassinations? Increased renditions? Plenty aggressive.

Don't try to be funny, and if you're not? Get at LEAST ONE fact straight... is that too much to ask?

listy -

His response was garbage, and you know it. Canada's proximity makes little difference. No different than America's effect on your country.

The proof is obvious. Look at the topics he complains about. U.S. healthcare is not a canadian issue.
Americas forign policy under obama is far less aggressive than in the past.

If he was REALLY CONCERNED with Americas effect on canada, he would be applauding obama for stirring the world pot much less than previous leaders.

The answer is simple.
No one cares when he complains about canada, so he complains about America. He's also an extremist, so he complains about ANYTHING his party tells him he should be against.

5cats has multiple sides. Excluding his political side, he's smart, charismatic, energetic, interesting and fun.
His political side can go to hell. IAB would be better off without it.

@Phosphoreign: Just watch MSNBC for one-sided liberal propaganda.
Klavan is a COMMENTATOR and satirist! Not a NEWS REPORTER ok?

You expect "counterpart" from Jeff Dunham?

@Listypoos: We Canadians live next to a 900 pound (400KG) Gorilla! EVERY MOVE IT MAKES interests us!!
Our economy and security are knotted with the USA, everything they do has DIRE consequences for us.
And Canadian politics is SO BORING! (lolz! Thank goodness!)

So yes, what happens in the USA has direct effects on Canada.

@DrWorm: Nope: AT THIS point in their Presidency, not after they were "lame ducks" for other reasons.

The real question is: Do 40% Of Americans Never Watch The News???? They have literally NO idea what's going on...

5cats, can I ask a question I know you've been asked before but I've not seen the answer.

tbh I don't know why I asked that, cause I'm gonna ask it straight away anyhoos...

Coming from UK Annex #1... e.g Canada. why is it that you're interested so much in US politics?

I swear dude I'm not trying to be confrontational, I just am genuinely interested to know. I've said in the past I'm more of a floating voter here in the UK... left wing on some things like the death penalty, right wing on others and I've posted those opinions accordingly as a post has come up on here that interests me, and I know we disagree on some of our politics, but not things like science posts (especially astronomy ones) or our senses of humour.

But... like I say, it does just interest me why you're obviously more interested in US politics than for example the setup in Canada.

Does, for instance the US political system influence the one in Canada to a larger degre

I might agree with a lot of what he says, but this was "the revolting propaganda". No facts, no citations, just the counterpart to Mrs. Babbety Stupid, Mr. "Obama Sucks"...
