@diylobotomy: Didn't look at that one, lolz!

@GypsyBard: Thanks for the support! It's a fact: Women Rugby Players are TOUGH! I knew a couple of them and they'd destroy me out on the field!

But female boxers (and MMA) are NOT! Oh they're still athletes, and their sport is VALID! But seriously? They're not even remotely close to male boxers. Also having different rules doesn't help!!

@ferdyfred: It's just a fact. You think a 150 pound female can box with a 150 pound male? Nope.

@SPrinkZ: I'd step into the ring with any of them. I have ZERO training, am old and out of shape AND I literally have a glass jaw! (bone surgery to remove a cyst from inside it... ICKY!)

I'd do OK. lolz! As long as the money was good.

Come on, 5cats. And after that inspiring tampon commercial a few weeks ago? Remember: #likeagirl

I don't believe 5Cats merits such backlash over his comment.
Where it's true that women's sports should be taken as seriously as their male counterparts', this is simply not so.
Take the WNBA for example, or women's baseball, still absent since it's disbanding in the mid-20th century.
Whether or not our society should be more open-minded in its approach to athletics is a valid debate to have...but to jump all over 5Cats simply by voicing an opinion that is so obviously in-tune with is so apparently the norm just seems wrong somehow.
By the way, I played rugby all through college, and then for NATO, and let me tell you: Those female ruggers were some of the toughest athletes I've ever seen. It's shaped and broadened my personal view on women in professional athletics, but our culture needs to catch up.
Don't blame 5Cats for reporting our reality.

Oh shut up 5cats. There are plenty of women boxer's who KNOW how to throw a punch and would easily knock you out.

Actually, that looks like a lot of points being scored. I think if the other fails to knock out the first, the first might win...

This is why "Women's Boxing" will never, ever be taken seriously...
