What about Sandra Bullock, Meg Ryan, Jeri Ryan, and Francesca Neri. Are they all men too? They all have adam's apples, so I guess they must be hmmm???
And btw Ershin, I have a friend who used to be a guy, and she's certainly not a mental case, she's very sweet. I think your comment about a sex change constituting a mental problem is extremely bigotted. You too, look215. With some of these comments, you would think it was the 1300s. Even your comment cnlbell shows what you "think of transsexuals". Personally I think that a fair number of these posts are ridiculously obnoxious. Grow up kiddies, it's the 21st century. |

Assimilate13-- thax for the clarification and little history lesson. I like to learn at least one new thing a day. I still think the comparison of thousands of dead who have husbands, wives, parents and children, left to mourn them far beyond their time, to a despicable human being from a murderous time in history, callous and incredibly thick headed. If he was making a valid point on something, it was lost because of a poorly chosen analogy. There has to be numerous alternative examples he could have used, but he chose the one with the most raw memories behind it.

that he didn't really THINK about what he was doing – that these were PEOPLE, and not just a means for his own advancement (for those who don’t know all the details, eichmann was the one who signed the papers for the people to be sent on the trains to the work/concentration/death camps). So, in this context, what i believe professor Churchill was trying to express is the idea that even the smallest cog in a corrupt system can be held just as responsible as the system itself. Now, one doesn’t have to agree with this, and even i don’t necessarily agree with this – and i CERTAINLY don’t agree in the context of 9/11 – but, just to be fair, i really don’t think he was calling them all nazis, or even hitlers, or anything like that… again, let me just reiterate: This is not my opinion, i am only stating it for the purpose of clarification… please don’t hate me or call me names or anything like that… please…

oh boy, ok, i am going to try to be VERY careful about how i phrase this, so that what i am about to say is NOT mistaken for personal opinion. i just wanted to put something that was said previously into context - which does NOT mean that i agree with this statement -- about prof. churchill's comment about "nazis"... what he actually said, verbatim, was "little eichmann's"... now, to most, this means nothing other than "little nazi's" - but, as he is a professor in political science (or something like that) i can almost guarantee that he was essentially referring to a book by a philosopher named hannah arendt called "eichmann in jerusalem: a report on the banality of evil". arendt (who was, by the way, jewish) followed the entire eichmann trial back in the 60's, and followed with this report. the conclusion essentially determined that eichmann (though NOT necessarily all nazis) wasn't exactly evil, he was just utterly, unforgivably stupid, in |

Well, since the democrats tend to view themselves as more compassionate, tolerant pacifists, it strikes me as an affront to such a claim when numerous groups claiming to be "Left-Wing" would advocate creating and posting around New York, George W. Bush shooting targets—complete with simulated bullet holes penetrating various parts of the body. Geez people. The right and left both have wacko extremists. It doesn't mean that either the right or left are totally wrong or right. I think attacking the few and extremely loud who make either side look stupid doesn't make anyone look better though. If you are a tad smarter than the fanatical dems or reps, you would notice that alot of women can have more noticable adam's apples. Usually it is due to a slightly enlarged thyroid gland. This is a common issue. I happen to have a slightly enlarged thyroid which tends to make my adam's apple more noticable, and since I gave birth to two babies vaginally with no pain meds, I can assure you I am NOT a man. Lets try to rise above the ridiculously obnoxious please. |

Ann Coulter is repulsive and ignorant. Her liberal bashing columns and books are laughable and ridiculous. She proved herself a complete moron when she went on air and claimed Canada fought in Vietnam. Even most right wing conservatives are embarrassed by her. Some other of her lowlights: She insulted a one-armed war veteran, called reports of the hundreds of tons of missing munitions in Iraq false, claimed Wesley Clark was pro-infanticide, and blamed Abu Ghraib on the presence of women in the armed forces. Ummm, does it matter? If she WAS a guy, she isn't now. I really doubt she was anyway, if she WERE a guy at one time, she certainly has the $ to take care of a simple problem like an adams apple if she wanted to. But really, who cares?? |
