You know the little tumblers that look like they have liquid in them, but its on the inner sides? Maybe they used those and put hole on the top of the tumbler somehow so that...or...maybe is was just water in the glasses, lol

The quality of the gif makes it difficult to determine if water was already in the glasses or not. So seeing any liquid mix is difficult.

The glasses move fractionally when they're not touched between pours. So I'd go with editing.

REV, why can't we see the milk swirl as it mixes with the water?

@rev: i could see that the milk had become diluted by the end of the trick but i thought it was complicated sleeve tube set-up that topped up the glasses.

There is an object inside the glasses displacing the liquid, so that the original liquid fills all the other glasses up.

I hate doing this because I am a magician, but this trick has been out for years and is really simple

Its a 2 part trick.

a: diminishing milk glasses

b: semi filled with water in advance to get the glasses filled at the end.

Watch how the glasses shift a little even after being set down. There's been some editing.

each of the glasses contains the part of pure water that makes the difference between the smaller and the next one, so when the white water is poured in a larger glass, both are mixed to form the total volume of large glass.

Yeah, you can clearly see that it gets diluted, that was easy.

The inside of each container is coated with a layer of ice adding volume on each pour when it melts
