"I am also slightly disappointed with how similar it is to the old retired shuttles."

Are you completely void of any knowledge associated with the words "Lifting Body"?

Am I the only one that sees potential problems from the lack of a wheel in the front? I am also slightly disappointed with how similar it is to the old retired shuttles.

To be honest, I don't believe we're in an era where private money has the will to go to space. I think that, for the time being is the realm of governments and multi-national government organisations.

I agree. As yet, space flight isn't easy enough to be cheap enough to be profitable. Satellite launches are the only commercial area.

No holiday to the moon for me :(

@codejockey: I think it is full scale, since on the site they mention atlas V as a launch platform and that is not exactly the biggest platform.
@draculya: another possibility may be that for cargo they will use a fully radio controlled version that flies without on-board crew, altough I think that a disposable cargo carrier may be the better option.

"I like it, but it looks like almost only a pasenger transporter. What is it's room for freight? Or do they plan to use more conventional rockets for that?"

I think that's the idea. The only part you need back are the people.

Look at the Branson thinggy (I think its called Galaxy?) that's no where near ready for space flight and they keep delaying the launch date.

I just don't like how this vehicle is blatantly racist.

While I like the design behind this vehicle, there is a reason the cut off the video of the first free-flight. The left main landing gear failed to deploy, so it crash landed.

On the up-side, the landing did not result in any major damage to the systems or the crew compartment.

That's a lot bigger than the Soyuz capsule they're using to service the ISS now.

"Fuzzy dice"
Do you think there's a plate on the back that says "Fresh?"

"...What is it's room for freight?..."
May not be full scale.
