"Parle à mon cul, ma tête est malade"
that translates as "you're giving me a headache", not "stop bothering me"It's an approximation that means the same thing, gizmo, the raw translation is "talk to my ass, my head hurts" but essentially that means "stop bothering me" a more PG way of telling off a bothersome person is "tu casses mes pieds" which literally means "you're breaking my feet" but equal to the idiom "you're a pain in the neck" |

The translations range from accurate to way off; the slack for expressive translations to edge away from literal ones is a little large. Not to mention the phonetics don't match the phrase in some cases, where the italic text below the translation implies 'mourir,' for example, when the text states 'morts.'I think I've gone past saying something like "Oh well, good job trying," but imagine I did anyway. |
