Feminists: your bigotry has consequences. Dumb people like this take you seriously in your idiotic anti-male propaganda.

You can tell she's a feminist because she suggests using a disingenuous method to gain an advantage over males, versus investing time and effort developing skills and strengths which would make a woman genuinely stronger than her male counterparts.

Of course, a woman of strength would know that men are neither an obstacle or a threat to her success, and would not associate with feminists.

Only a moron believes that empowerment happens when you dumb down the environment enough for the weak to succeed.

Having said that, I've read that washing isn't necessary in very young boys because the foreskin is still attached to the glans and shouldn't be detached until it does so of its own accord. I don't remember that far back so I'm not sure about it, but it's something that parents who have a baby boy and don't want to cut part of his genitals off should look into.

Err... on the circumcision bit... I've heard a pretty disturbing account of the "build-up" that may occur as a result of not properly cleaning the enclosed areas.

I have access to water to wash in. I wash myself. Don't you?

You might or might not be aware that women's genitals have more "enclosed areas" and are warmer and damper, making them better growth areas for anaerobic microbes. Do you advocate that the labia are cut off of girls before they're old enough to talk, let alone fight back? If not, why not? Your "cleanliness" argument applies more strongly to female people than to male people.

Washing. It's quick, simple and works well for both sexes.

In that case... step right up for a labiaplasty because natural non-symmetric labia are "just nasty, nothing appealing about it" and we know everyone looks for that "nice, clean and classic profile."

uncut looks gross and gets nasty. When it's soft it looks like an elderly sea cucumber. Just nasty, nothing appealing about it. Cut, it's the classic mushroom whether it's erect or not. Nice, clean and classic profile.

Well. I am sure if you leave your dick undisturbed it would get natsy- but I prefer my men uncut- and have never found them nasty.

should this be real I can not imagine that someone with such... strong feeling about males would be able to stand the actual act of fertilization( artificial or not) if it meant needing a man.

Bigots are often capable of rationalising all sorts of things that are irrational. Their own views are irrational, so why would they balk at other irrationality?

Consider, for example, an extremely racist slave-owner in the USA in the past. He's as racist against "black" people as she is against male people, maybe even more so. But he might have a slave he's fond of, maybe even genuinely loves, maybe even views as something like an equal.

It's not unheard of for a bigot, even a raving extremist, to be able to see one or two people in the group they're bigoted against as people and therefore see them as not part of the group. It's irrational, but see above.

You're from the USA, so in your case it's a recent custom that's partially cultural and partially religious - it comes from the anti-masturbation hysteria of the late 19th century, which was partially rooted in Christianity.

But most people who inflict it on their sons don't even know that - they're just doing it because it's the custom in their culture. No reason at all, just done because it is.

Circumcision to prevent yeast infections.

You can't be that ignorant, surely?

Genital mutilation is practised to varying degrees in various cultures and the reason is never anything practical. It's religious and/or cultural. Claims about it being "cleaner" in various ways are commonplace, but they're just rationalisations.

Even if yeast infections were anything more than extremely rare in men (but they are extremely rare in men) that would not justify cutting part of a baby's genitals off long before they're able to give meaningful consent.

This is either fake or an example of extreme stupidity, not feminism.

It's an example of extreme sexism, which is feminism.

Why on earth do you think it's not feminism? She's advocating for female people - that's what feminism is. She's applying anti-male sexism, which is mainstream feminist policy. The only difference is that she's applying it on a personal scale rather than a political and social scale.

Not all feminists are are sexist as she is, but she is a feminist. Feminism includes every degree of anti-male sexism, up to and including a "final solution to the male problem".

Now here's where apologists and liars seize on the mention of the extremists to falsely claim that it *only* applies to those extremists. It does not. All feminism is feminism. Some strains are worse than others, but they all share the same basis - sexism to the core.

Just because some women identify as feminists and are complete mean persons does not mean all feminists are.

You're using a strawman for the purposes of misdirection.

"All feminists are (as IAB's censorship would put it) complete mean persons."

is completely different to "all feminism is feminism."

The latter is what's being said, so why are you arguing against the former?

Feminism is a group advocacy ideology - it advocates for female people. That obviously requires defining everyone by their sex - you can't advocate for female people without first defining everyone as female or not. It also requires judging everyone because of their sex - at the very least you must judge non-females as unworthy of postive attention on a social or political scale. That's profoundly sexist and it's required for all strains of feminism, even the mildest, and the mainstream is much more sexist.

I am a feminist, Caitlan Moran is a Feminist, Greer, Orbach, Dworkin- all feminists. Just because some women identify as feminists and are complete mean persons does not mean all feminists are. Dworkin was ill, Greer angry and very funny- we all vary. Whilst it is a known fact that all Tories are bastards the same rule does NOT apply to other groups- except UKIP- they too are idiots.

I don't believe in any set of rights that names any one particular group.
We all have the same rights.
Therefore I do not believe in womens rights, black rights, gay rights etc. etc.
Come to think of it - as a white, 'Christian', heterosexual male I must not have rights because I don't fit any of those groups.
Just a thought.

That's not feminism at all. That's like saying that Mother Theresa was a Marxist Martian from Kentucky who rode on the backs of Walruses.

I did some googling and it looks like she's pulled the post and closed her facebook account. You would not believe (well, you probably would believe) the vitriol she's been getting on some of the less self-controlled sites. It's disproportionate and beyond the level a teen girl can be expected to suffer, especially for a comment that I believe she would have naturally come to regret as she matures.

Her words were really bad (and that's coming from a misogynist) but my protective protective parental instincts tell me it's gone too far.

What the drat?!

Circumcision to prevent yeast infections. Sex feels plenty good to my chopped penis.

What a dumb bitch!
