"For example people who are past child bearing age are required to have (and pay for) fertility and maternity care coverage even though they will never have any more children."

People are often required to pay for sh*t that they may never use, that's nothing new. For example, I have no children but I'm still required to pay school taxes along with my property taxes. I'm not using the public school system at all yet I'm still forced to pay for it and if I don't the city will come and take my house.

Well I'm glad you are OK with it then. It still does not make the comedic example Jon Stewart gave to dismiss it true. It just shows that he will purposely misrepresent facts just as much as anyone else.

Lol, clicking the video opened it 6 times: once in foreground where controls work and 5 that were in the background, only audio could be heard.. Pretty funny. On refresh it worked right.

VV Well thanks for being polite about it @panzerlenis!

I'll compliment Obama when he does something WORTH complimenting! Unlike the Nobel Peace Prize Committee...

Anyhow? I don't try to pass myself off as "unbiased" or anything, nor do others make that claim for me.
>I gave Bush verbal heck when he screwed up! And defended him when he was FALSELY attacked.
>But you know? I cannot think of ONE THING Obama has done worth praise.

And a HECK of a long list of drat-ups. Accidental AND intentional...

@5cats, "So Jon spends a minute or so "slamming" Obama, but ends up spending 4 minutes DEFENDING HIM (and ObamaCare) and THAT = equal treatment?"

I agree its not equal treatment at all. I would also agree Jon has a bit of a liberal bias (not to the extreme you claim, but a bias nonetheless). Still, that minute of "slamming" Obama is more balance than I've EVER seen come from you. So there's that.

@5cats, "Please laugh at the 'news clown' rather than be angry that your President."

I hear ya. It sucks when pompous liberals try to trick us into liking them by being "funny" or "reasonable". Who does he think he is, Gov. Christie?!?!?

And just look at all those words I typed without any mention of hating Obama. Looks like I missed a great opportunity there.

Oh Jon? People ARE Telling The Truth About ObamaCare's Problems
Funny how he avoided all the hundreds of times those he accused of "lying" were actually telling the truth? Funny = Not haha funny...

But go on! Believe a "news clown" who only hires liberal Democrats on his staff!

After all, if people have truthful criticisms? That would mean Obama has literally NO defence for his deliberate lies and subsequent cover-up.

Is This The Clip?

Please laugh at the "news clown" rather than be angry that your President.

OR BETTER YET! Lets talk about non-issues that blame OTHER PEOPLE (Republicans)! And pretend this counts as "equal treatment".

3:30 Note To Jon: people HAVE BEEN saying what's bad about the ACA! YOU have been ignoring those people.

What was "a dirty Republican lie" last year? Turns out it's BEEN A FACT ALL ALONG! ie: the truth.

That is why depending on "news clowns" for information is generally a poor idea...

So Jon spends a minute or so "slamming" Obama, but ends up spending 4 minutes DEFENDING HIM (and ObamaCare) and THAT = equal treatment?

He is wrong about the 10 essential items. What it refers to is that all health plans are now required to cover items that make no sense for the individuals being covered, which drives the cost of that plan up for those individuals.

For example people who are past child bearing age are required to have (and pay for) fertility and maternity care coverage even though they will never have any more children.

Whodat, I love that bit! Is there anything a Gospel choir can't do?

And once again, Jon, the gadfly of Gotham, manages to both entertain and reasonify the masses. Satire, it's what's for dinner.

"Jon Stewart exposes the hypocrisy in the media regardless of what political puppet is in office."

That's exactly why I like the show so much. A perfect example is this clip called Wit Happens where he talks about how reporters have been saying since Jon Stewart is mocking Obama and the ACA that means it's doomed. He then points out how he pretty much talks sh*t about everyone (since that's the reason The Daily Show exists) and if what he said about others actually had as big an impact as they say then why is Fox "News" still on the air and why didn't Dubya and/or Cheney resign in disgrace?
