Friday, March 18, 2005 7:15:03 AM The picture looks like 2 spiders interlocked with each other. Count the legs. |

Thursday, March 17, 2005 11:48:05 PM Message to those who hate spiders: After I saw this picture, a spider crawled up into my bed. It was pretty big and also hairy. It kept trying to crawl into my nose, but I wouldn't let it. Finally it bit me a few times under my foot until it was bored and crawled away. Now that you read this, the same thing will happen to you too. Sweet Dreams. |

Thursday, March 17, 2005 10:31:08 PM That picture is NOT fake! It is just taken at such an angle that the spider looks bigger than it actually is. If you look in the top left you can see the soldier's sleeve and compare it to the size of the spider. |

Thursday, March 17, 2005 10:04:15 PM if you really want to understand the size of the spiders, compare the TWO in the picture to the hand in the upper right corner. |

Thursday, March 17, 2005 6:34:46 PM I encounterd a few in afghanistan. They don't have venom, so getting bit is VERY painfull. They usually just mind their own buisness, but if you're the only source of shade, they'll run to you're shadow. Pretty creepy, everytime you move, it runs back to your shadow. About the size of your palm. |

Thursday, March 17, 2005 6:03:40 PM Gods! I love animals and insects, but those need to die!...okay maybe not, but still!! Eck!(Sarah, scorpions can be large, a south african scorpion can be 8 1/2 inches long, and emperor scorpions are about 6 1/2 inches. I think you're thinking of the little bark scorpions, which are about 2 to 2 3/4 inches long.) |

Thursday, March 17, 2005 5:38:31 PM If you look at the video where it shows the spider attacking a scorpian, you can see the spider it pretty small. Scorpians are very small. |

Thursday, March 17, 2005 4:51:16 PM Still, having flesh gnawed off by a not-so-large-but-still-larger-than-usual spider would scare me. Heck, any spider would scare me. |
