@sickandtired: Yes, @davymid has offered "friendly advice" (ok! harsh criticism! lolz!) to me several times. Usually I listen and take it quite seriously.

About "low vote results"? WHAT exactly am I supposed to do to "fix that"? Post pro-leftist crapola?

You don't like my posts? Feel free to not read them. End of problem!

I believe Davymid took time out of his busy schedule to express his opinion over your 'high quality' political posts. It was probably too subtle for you to pick up at the time. But then, you like things to be clearly spelled out for you, don't you? Either way, I wouldn't interpret it as a good sign.

Go find it yourself.

"You make comments about my BALLS? And expect me to take you SERIOUSLY???"

I'd say it was a pretty accurate metaphor, actually. Your political posts have all the grace, reason and forethought of a child exposing themselves to their classmates. Yet you seem to think the world needs to see them at every given occasion and furiously wet your pants when you're ridiculed for it.

5cats - considering a mod has already lambasted you for your propensity of churning out partisan poo like this...

NEWS TO ME PAL!
Who? Which mod? Exact answers please!

Best to e-mail me, it's right there in my profile! I might not come back to this thread, eh?

You make comments about my BALLS? And expect me to take you SERIOUSLY???
How... liberal of you.

For the record: I have handsome balls

5cats - considering a mod has already lambasted you for your propensity of churning out partisan poo like this, I'd say you're most likely already on thin ice. You're just too busy looking in the mirror admiring your own pea-sized republi-balls and pissing all over everyone else.

I'd be very surprised if the mod's aren't already twitching their ban-hammer fingers over your thoroughly irritating and narcissistic antics.

@sickandtired: you mean those self-same @Mods who posted my suggestions in the first place? Them? You DO know how IAB works, eh?

#1 Suggestions go into "Live Submission" (bottom of this page)
#2 Then @FancyLad or @The_Mods either post, delete or leave it for later.

See?

@Lord_Jereth: Ah! ic. Thanks for the info. Lots of countries have GOOD healthcare! Canada's is so-so though... we depend heavily on our southern neighbors.

I agree that the US system "needs fixing" big time! But ObamaCare does nothing at all in my humble opinion. It actually makes it worse...

Tired of 5Cats' crap posts? Yes, definitely--as I think a lot of I-A-B'ers are.

Yes no liberal slanted posts here either..... I'm tired of the politics here and of our politicians on both side behave like babies. IT'S BOTH OF THEM WAKE THE F UCK UP! Both side have had good and bad ideas but they're too busy pointing fingers at each other and butting head to do s hit. Obama's been calling his opposition terrorist is that really the adult thing to do? How does it help?

"I can guarantee that if this was a Republican program, that launched this badly, you, and the rest of the liberals here at IAB, would be making hay of it daily."

You keep making claims about what liberals would do in hypothetical situations, rather than showing examples of things they actually have done in real situations.

You can't criticise someone for something you think they might do.

@5Cats, I haven't had any kind of health insurance at all since I came back to the States in 2004 and, being presently a full-time student with $0 reportable income, I'm in about the lowest income bracket there is. But, since I am a veteran, I qualify for free health insurance through the VA.

LJ

P.S. I lived in a social democratic country for nearly 17 years, Germany. Other than paying a slightly higher tax for the privilege, I NEVER had to pay for health care, including when I had my knee reconstructed by Europe's leading orthopedic surgeon at the time. I didn't pay for doctor visits, specialists, medication, hospital stays or therapy. It's actually kind of the norm for the western world outside of the States. Really, we're the aberration. I don't see what all the fuss is about.

" Oh, let us follow YOUR example of fine post offerings"

Please do, 5cats. If there's anyone on this site who could do with shutting the f.uck up, it's you.
Contributing to this site, no matter the volume does not entitle you to try and commandeer it with the full force of your ravenous bigotry.

@Lord_Jereth: Honestly? You're the first IABers I've found who actually signed up. Unless "getting a quote" is the same? idk, A couple of IABers said they got quotes...

So? Did your insurance go UP or DOWN with ObamaCare?

Ummmmm ... not seeing the problem, here. I signed on last night. That holding screen is just that, it's a queue. It constantly reloads the page in the background until your number comes up. I'd estimate I was on hold for about a minute and half to two minutes. The process was pretty straight forward and relatively painless.

*shrugs*

@Squrlz4: I, and my family, pay WAY HIGHER TAXES than y'all do down there! Hidden tax? Provincial Tax? GST (Federal Government) tax? WE PAY FOR OUR FREE STUFF!

So STFU.

I have EVERY RIGHT to post and comment and will NOT be bullied into silence.

Period.

Complain about the PotUS? I don't recall you defending Bush... not even once... he STILL gets slagged regularly on IAB even since you've signed up, bro.

@synaw: No one has successfully "signed up" in the first 5 days... not that I've found.
The "one guy" they claimed did?
>Was an 'insider' working for the system
>Didn't ACTUALLY sign up after all!

@sicandtired: Oh, let us follow YOUR example of fine post offerings!
Lets see...

I know a lot of people tried to look, but how many actually signed up when they saw the prices? Also, you guys know that socialism doesn't work right? We're already at 50%, workers vs freeloaders, that's the tipping point. Saying "I told you so" won't be very satisfying when we're standing 200 deep in a bread line.

@AJ

Hold on there, Nelly. Plenty of crazy leftist posts? In the years I've visited this site, I have never seen ANYTHING as bad as what this batsh.it obsessive is spewing out on an almost daily basis. He and a handful other completely unreasonable blowhards (Oldollie,Craker) are outright highjacking IAB with the extremes of their political bile. They don't care to debate, they just hammer on like brain-addled tits, drawing from the same old spurious hard-right websites as 'fact'. And it's god damned tedious as hell.

@ CrakrJak: "Sour grapes"? The fox said sour grapes when he couldn't get what he wanted; I, by contrast, have received everything I've wanted and more: The ACA was signed into law, its long-term prospects look excellent, and the hardline Republicans are committing seppuku as I type this. I can hardly wait for the 2014 elections.

Squrlz: Calm down Francis.

Just because you think Obama and Obamacare are great doesn't mean the rest of us do or should.

I can guarantee that if this was a Republican program, that launched this badly, you, and the rest of the liberals here at IAB, would be making hay of it daily.

synaw-"lol are you just mad everyone loves it and is on to sign up?"

No, not everyone loves it, not even a majority does.

Many are on it to TRY and sign up...but are unable to do so (and they've admitted that the 'high volume' excuse was 'inaccurate').

California was not able to sign up a single person in the first two days.

MANY who got quotes didn't enroll because 'it was too expensive!'.

The Media have been searching frantically for ANY person who successfully signed up. They found Chad Henderson, who signed-up successfully and was happy as sh*t. His story was shared by Obama advisors, he was going to be in a video for Organizing for Actions, and was interviewed by The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Chattanooga Times Free Press, The Huffington Post, Enroll America, and Politico.

The only problem? He never actually enrolled.

The site really is crap. I called the help number and was amazed to get someone instantly. They told me that the server was only designed to hold 600,000 people at a time. Seriously? had she of told me it could only hold 1.2 million I would of understood a bit more because 4 million people on a site at once is a lot. (A non-mainstream site unlike ebay or google, don't get smart with me)

Also, the glitches with creating an application etc are inexcusable. It should of been fully tested. Unless, the reason for these glitches is because of the heavy load on the server.

I wonder why they made it heavy in javascript, that must use far more DB queries then just having everything appear at once.
