Monday, June 02, 2003 9:07:08 AM I posted it a few weeks ago.It is true that they did it all in one take. Not sure if Buddy's is the same link, but in my link there are articles below the ad that you can read through describing how they did it. |

Sunday, June 01, 2003 10:45:10 PM The tires rolling uphill was the one part I did think looked fake - how did they do that exactly with nuts and bolts? |

Sunday, June 01, 2003 8:23:24 PM it's not fake. they put nuts and bolts all over precisely so that the tires would roll uphill and the muffler would roll. |

Sunday, June 01, 2003 6:43:55 PM Hey, did any of you notice how the tires seem to go uphill really easily and the muffler seems to roll rather fast for just getting a tap. Now, I'm not trying to discredit Rube Goldberg, but do you think they may have weighted some of the items or treaked them to make it work easier? |

Sunday, June 01, 2003 5:31:24 PM I disagree, Kiki. If they were dedicated enough to try 606 times to get that gag to work right, wouldn't they be just as dedicated to getting the car to work right? |

Sunday, June 01, 2003 4:48:58 PM kiki... you arent supposed to know it took 606 tries... they want you to think that they laid it out and it just worked... |

Sunday, June 01, 2003 4:35:54 PM LOL yeah that is cool. But don't you think the whole advertising logo of 'isn't it nice when things just work' is ruined when it took them 606 tries to make it work? |
